How Cash for Communities works

How it works

Cash for Communities is a way for farmers, growers and contractors to give back to their community. The programme is currently closed and the 2022 terms and conditions will be available in September.

Step 1: As a local club, school or organisation, make sure your cause is signed-up to the programme. A sign up form will be available soon for the 2022 spring programme.

Step 2: As a local club, school or organisation, make sure you promote the programme to your local community, growers and farmers so they can get involved.

Step 3: As a PGG Wrightson Account Holder, nominate your cause against your account. This nomination form will also be available soon for the 2022 spring programme.

Step 4: As a PGG Wrightson Account Holder, simply purchase Ballance Agri-Nutrients fertiliser through your PGG Wrightson account during the qualifying programme period in 2022 (yet to be advised) and $1 for every tonne purchased will be donated to your chosen qualifying cause. We take care of the donation process at the end of the programme.

Case Studies

PGG Wrightson and Ballance Agri-Nutrients created the Cash for Communities programme with the aim of financially contributing to charities and organisations who support rural New Zealand. Hear from causes themselves how valuable the donations from the programme are.
